BARNARD, Mo. - Starting today, the South Nodaway School District has lifted its mask mandate.
The school district has had all in-person classes throughout the school year while abiding by the Missouri Public Health's mask mandate for public schools.
Superintendent Johnnie Silkett told KXCV/KRNW that its a way of moving forward for the district at large.
The district started the mask mandate last November at the request of Gov. Mike Parson.
